Iain Thornley
Iain Thornley (born 11 September 1991) is an English rugby league footballer who plays as a and er for the Wakefield Trinity in the RFL Championship. He previously played for the Wigan Warriors in the Super League, and on loan from Wigan at the South Wales Scorpions in Championship 1, Leigh and Workington Town in the Championship and the Salford Red Devils in the Super League. Thornley has also played for Hull Kingston Rovers and the Catalans Dragons in the top flight. Between 2009 and 2012 Thornley played rugby union with the Sale Sharks and Leeds Carnegie. Wigan ( ) is a large town in Greater Manchester, England, on the River Douglas, Lancashire, River Douglas. 2013 Championship 1
The 2013 Championship 1, known as the Kingstone Press Championship 1 for sponsorship reasons, was a semi-professional rugby league football competition played in England and Wales, the third tier of the sport in the country. The 2013 season will see three new teams enter the division alongside the six remaining teams that were not promoted during the 2012 season. Coventry, who had been considered for entry into the division for 2013, will enter the division in 2014. This means that the 2013 Championship 1 season will consist of 9 teams. The promotion/relegation positions and the play-off format also revert to the normal formats, following the change for the 2012 season to allow the top four teams to be promoted to the Rugby Football League Championship and the champions of the division to be decided by a six-team play-off. Huddersfield Giants
Huddersfield Giants are an English professional rugby league club from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, the birthplace of rugby league, who play in the Super League competition. They play their home games at the John Smiths Stadium which is shared with Huddersfield Town F.C. Huddersfield is also one of the original twenty-two rugby clubs that formed the Northern Rugby Football Union in 1895, making them one of the world's first rugby league teams. Warrington Wolves
The Warrington Wolves are a professional rugby league club based in Warrington, England, that competes in the Super League. They play rugby at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, having moved there from Wilderspool in 2004.
