''I Want to Live with Letizia'' (Italian: ''Voglio vivere con Letizia'') is a 1938 Italian " white-telephones" comedy film directed by Camillo Mastrocinque and starring Assia Noris, Gino Cervi and Umberto Melnati.Chiti & Poppi p.414 It was shot at Cinecittà Studios in Rome. The film's sets were designed by the art directors Guido Fiorini and Gastone Medin. Synopsis In order to please his wealthy parents Bebe agrees to an arranged marriage with Letizia, the daughter of an aristocratic family who have fallen on hard times. However, in order to check that she is not marrying him for his money alone, he sends his cousin to take his place while he pretends to be a penniless painter. He is able to discover that she truly can fall in love with him. Jean-Bertrand Aristide (born 15 July 1953) is a Haitian former Salesian priest and politician who became Haiti's first democratically elected president. A proponent of liberation theology, Aristide was appointed to a parish in Port-au-Prince in 1982 after completing his studies to become a priest. He became a focal point for the pro-democracy movement first under Jean-Claude "Baby Doc" Duvalier and then under the military transition regime which followed. He won the 1990–91 Haitian general election, with 67% of the vote. As a priest, he taught liberation theology and, as a president, he attempted to normalize Afro-Creole culture, including Vodou religion, in Haiti.
