I Love India
''I Love India'' is a 1993 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by Pavithran. The film stars Sarath Kumar, débutante Tisca Chopra and Shenbagam. It was released on 14 October 1993. Plot Diwakar, an Indian Brigadier, is charged to eradicate terrorism in Kashmir. Diwakar lives with his sister Anu. His neighbour Priya falls in love with him. One day, the terrorists kidnap Anu and they kill her thereafter. In the past, Diwakar promised Anu to marry Priya. To fulfil his sister's wish, Diwakar eventually marries Priya. But Diwakar cannot live happily as long as he does not eliminate the terrorists. Pavithran (Tamil Film Director)
Pavithran is an Indian film director, who has made many hit Tamil films. He was active primarily in the 1990s collaborating in ventures which often included Sarathkumar in pivotal roles. He was awarded the Tamil Nadu state Kalaimamani award for his works in the film industry. Career Pavithran a student of Pachaiyappa's college began his career with K. T. Kunjumon's production venture ''Vasanthakala Paravai'' (1991), before going on to make a successful action film with Sarathkumar titled ''Suriyan'' (1992) which went on to become the biggest hit of the year, cementing his position in kollywood and then re-collaborated with the actor the following year with ''I Love India'' (1993). ''Surieyan'' () is a 1992 Indian Tamil-language action film written and directed by Pavithran, and produced by K. T. Kunjumon. The film, starring Sarathkumar and Roja, revolves around IPS officer Surieyan who is forced to flee after being framed for shooting a minister. After reaching a new hamlet he shaves his hair and beard and pretends to have forgotten his past. What really happened to Surieyan and how he will prove his innocence forms the rest of the story. Minmini (born P. J. Rosily) is a South Indian film playback singer. She is best remembered for the song "Chinna Chinna Aasai" from ''Roja'', the debut work of film composer A. R. Rahman, which was dubbed in Hindi as "Choti Si Asha". Most of her songs are in Tamil, most of them composed by Ilaiyaraaja and A. R. Rahman. Tiruchirapalli Srinivasan Rangarajan, professionally credited by his pseudonym Vaali (born 29 October 1931 – 18 July 2013) was an Indian poet who is the highest songs wrote lyricist in cinema and whose works were in Tamil, had a five-decade long association with the Tamil film industry, wrote over 15,000 songs.
