I Heart Marvel
{{unreferenced, date=May 2019 ''I ♥ Marvel'' (aka ''I Heart Marvel'' or ''I Love Marvel'' and commonly stylized as ''I (heart) Marvel'') was a series of connected one-shots published by Marvel Comics around February 2006 (although cover-dated April 2006) to coincide with the romance-themed holiday of Valentine's Day. The series told several romantic stories featuring characters from the Marvel comics universe, with each issue focusing on a different area of the Marvel universe (X-Men, supervillains, etc.). Despite appearing to be a typical fifth-week event comic, February 2006, like every February (excepting leap years), had only four weeks. Marcos Martín Milanés (Barcelona, 1972) is a Spanish comic book artist, who usually draws for American comics. Notable works include ''Batgirl: Year One'', ''Breach (comics), Breach'', ''Doctor Strange, Doctor Strange: The Oath'', ''The Amazing Spider-Man'', ''Daredevil (Marvel Comics series), Daredevil'' and ''The Private Eye''. He is also known as a prolific cover artist for a number of publishers in the industry, including Marvel Comics, Marvel and DC Comics. Early life Marcos Martín became interested in comics at the age of four, reading Spanish translations of the licensed Italian Disney comics and various issues of Jack Kirby, Kirby/Stan Lee, Lee's ''Fantastic Four'' that belonged to his older sister.
