"I Feel Lonely" is a song recorded by German singer Sasha. It was written by Sasha, Michael "Grant Michael B." Kersting, and Stephan "Pomez di Lorenzo" Baader for Sasha's debut studio album '' Dedicated to...'' (1998), while production was overseen by the latter two. Released as the album's fourth and final single, the reggae-influenced mid-tempo track became a top ten success in Belgium, Finland, Germany, and Switzerland. In 2014, a jazzy cover version of the song, recorded by Sarah Connor, reached number 44 on the Austrian Singles Chart after her performance on the reality television series ''Sing meinen Song – Das Tauschkonzert'', the German version of '' The Best Singers'' series, in which she appeared with Sasha. Sasha (German Singer)
Sascha Röntgen (' Schmitz; born 5 January 1972), better known by his stage name Sasha, is a German singer, songwriter, and occasional actor. He is also known by his alter ego Dick Brave, and part of the group Dick Brave & the Backbeats. Due to a legal dispute with the Welsh DJ also named Sasha, he is known as Sasha Alexander in the United States. Early life Sasha is the elder of two children born to Fritz Schmitz, a former Bundeswehr soldier, and his wife Ramona, a nursery nurse. Raised in a Christian home alongside his younger brother Norman (born 1976), Sasha spent his childhood in Soest, North Rhine-Westphalia, following his parents' divorce. His early musical interest grew when he started his first school band, called Bad to the Bone, which "was exactly as bad as the name suggests", he later stated. The Dutch Top 40 ( nl, Nederlandse Top 40) is a weekly music chart compiled by ''Stichting Nederlandse Top 40''. It started as a radio program titled "Veronica Top 40", on the offshore station Radio Veronica in 1965. It remained "The Veronica Top 40" until 1974, when the station was forced to stop broadcasting. Joost den Draaijer initiated the Top 40 in the Netherlands. The show currently airs on Fridays from 2 to 6 PM on Qmusic. History On January 2, 1965, the first Top 40 was compiled, with its first #1 hit "''I Feel Fine''" by The Beatles. In September 1974, the Stichting Nederlandse Top 40 bought the Top 40 and named it ''De Nederlandse Top 40''. Romanian Top 100
Multiple record charts have been inaugurated in Romania since the 1990s. The Romanian Top 100 was the country's national chart until 2012. Founded in 1995, it was a ranking based on the compilation of charts submitted by local Romanian radio stations. The Romanian Top 100 was published weekly and was also announced during a radio show starting in 1998. Compilation of the list was first handled by Body M Production A-V, followed by Media Forest. In the 2010s, the chart was announced during a podcast on Kiss FM, but the broadcast ended in February 2012. Later that month, the Airplay 100—which was compiled by Media Forest and also broadcast by Kiss FM—replaced the Romanian Top 100 as a national chart. Until its cancellation in November 2021, it measured the airplay of songs on radio stations and television channels throughout the country. ''The Best Singers'', created and owned by FTV Rights B.V., is a reality television series that has been broadcast under various names in a number of European countries. The original format is produced in the Netherlands by FTV Productions B.V. and broadcast on NPO1 by public broadcaster AVROTROS (formerly AVRO and TROS. The two broadcasters merged in 2013).
