I Do (Nina Girado Song)
"I Do" is a song by Filipino singer Nina from her self-titled third studio album, ''Nina''. It was released as the lead single of the album in August 2006 by Warner Music Philippines. Retrieved 2010-10-27 The song was written by Joleen Belle, Michael Jay, Carsten Lindberg Hansen and Joachim Svare, and it was produced by Warner personnel Neil Gregorio. It is one of her few original singles. It is also her first upbeat pop- R&B-dance single, since her 2003 number one hit " Make You Mine". The song is described to be Mariah Carey-like, due to Nina's evident use of whistle register and upper-pitch trajectories in the last part of the song. The song was panned by Original Pilipino Music (OPM) critics, although the album received critical acclaim from the same reviewers. Marifil Niña Girado-Enriquez (born November 1, 1980), known professionally as Nina, is a Filipino people, Filipina singer, occasional songwriter, record producer, TV and radio personality and occasional actress. Ballad
A ballad is a form of verse, often a narrative set to music. Ballads derive from the medieval French ''chanson balladée'' or ''ballade'', which were originally "dance songs". ''Nina Live!'' is a live album and the third album by Filipina singer Nina, released in the Philippines on February 23, 2005, by Warner Music Philippines. The original release date for the album was scheduled on February 22, 2005, but it was moved a day later due to preparation. Nina has released two successful studio albums that are both influenced by pop- R&B, but behind all the commercial activities, she regularly performs on different bars and gigs. Bling-bling, often shortened to just bling, is "flashy jewelry worn especially as an indication of wealth or status; broadly: expensive and ostentatious possessions" such as grills and designer bags.
