I Decided (song)
"I Decided" is a song by American recording artist Solange Knowles. It was written and composed by Knowles and producer Pharrell Williams for her second studio album ''Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams'' (2008). The song samples hand-claps of the 1964 recording " Where Did Our Love Go", as performed by The Supremes, and is also based on the melody of "(Love Is Like a) Heat Wave" (1963) by Martha and the Vandellas. Solange Piaget Knowles (; born June 24, 1986) is an American singer, songwriter, performance artist, and actress. Expressing an interest in music from an early age, Knowles had several temporary stints as a backup dancer for Destiny's Child, which featured her elder sister, Beyoncé Knowles, among its members, before signing with her father Mathew Knowles's Music World Entertainment label. At age 16, Knowles released her first studio album ''Solo Star'' (2002). She also appeared in the films ''Johnson Family Vacation'' (2004), and '' Bring It On: All or Nothing'' (2006). In 2007, Knowles began to record music again. Freemasons are an English DJ duo from Brighton, East Sussex, England. The act consists of the producers Russell Small (who is also one half of the house production duo Phats & Small) and James Wiltshire (who also works with Phats & Small under the alias 'Jimmy Gomez'). Biography 2005–2007: Early career Their name is taken from the Brighton pub, Freemasons Tavern, Hove, which they frequently visit.
