I Deal In Danger
''I Deal in Danger'' is a 1966 American DeLuxe Color spy film compiled from the first four episodes of a television series, ''Blue Light (TV series), Blue Light'', which aired on American Broadcasting Company, ABC-TV in early 1966. Directed by Walter Grauman, it starred Robert Goulet as David March, an Allies of World War II, Allied spy in Nazi Germany during World War II. He is aided by a French agent, Susanne Duchard, played by Christine Carère. Plot In Nazi Germany during World War II, David March (Robert Goulet) is an American traitor who has been given wide access to travel as he wishes within Germany. Unbeknownst to the Germans, March is actually an American spy, the last remaining from a spy ring, known as Blue Light. As time goes on, he has been able to work his way higher and higher within the Nazi intelligence apparatus, however he is suspected by a Nazi Gestapo officer, Captain Elm (Werner Peters). John Bramwell Alderson (10 April 1916 – 4 August 2006) was an English actor noted for playing the lead in the 1957-58 syndicated western television series, '' Boots and Saddles'', which ran for thirty-eight episodes in a single season, and many supporting roles in films in a career spanning almost forty years, from 1951 to 1990. Alderson was cast as the rugged trail guide Hugh Glass, an historical figure, in the 1966 episode "Hugh Glass Meets the Bear" of the syndicated series, ''Death Valley Days''. Peter Capell (3 September 1912 – 3 March 1986) was a German actor who was active on screen from 1945 until 1985. Apart from a lengthy film career, he appeared in many television series and mini-series. He appeared in many old time radio programs including the series '' Dimension X''. His first role was in '' Winterset'', shortly after the end of the Second World War. His final role came a year before his death, when he appeared in ''Mamas Geburtstag''. Both of these were television productions. He also appeared in many films, including ''Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory'' (1971). Capell was also in Stanley Kubrick's 1957 war film ''Paths of Glory'' (he also narrated the film's opening sequence), co-starring Kirk Douglas. John van Dreelen (born Jacques Theodore van Drielen Gimberg; 5 May 1922 – 4 September 1992) was a Dutch actor, who frequently performed on television from the 1960s to the 1980s. Early years Van Dreelen was born in Amsterdam, the son of Dutch actor Louis van Dreelen Gimberg and the Countess de Labouchere of Paris. He attended the Sorbonne and was fluent in several languages.
