''I Am with You'' (French: ''Je suis avec toi'') is a 1943 French musical comedy film directed by Henri Decoin and starring Yvonne Printemps, Pierre Fresnay and Jacques Louvigny.''The A to Z of French Cinema'' p.120 It was shot at the Joinville Studios in Paris. The film's sets were designed by the art director Lucien Aguettand. Synopsis Concerned that her husband may be unfaithful to her, a woman pretends to go on a trip but instead remains in a nearby hotel. When her husband encounters her he believes he has found his wife's exact double. Henri Decoin
Henri Decoin (18 March 1890 – 4 July 1969) was a French film director and screenwriter, who directed more than 50 films between 1933 and 1964. He was also a swimmer who won the national title in 1911 and held the national record in the 500 m freestyle. He competed in the 400 m freestyle at the 1908 Summer Olympics and in the water polo tournament at the 1912 Summer Olympics. Biography During World War I, Decoin served as a pilot. After that he worked as a sports journalist for '' L'Auto'', ''L'Intransigeant'' and '' Paris-Soir''. Robert the Strong (french: Robert le Fort; c. 830 – 866) was the father of two kings of West Francia: Odo (or Eudes) and Robert I of France. His family is named after him and called the Robertians.
