I Am Lisa
''I Am Lisa'' is a 2020 horror revenge film that was directed by Patrick Rea, based on a script written by Eric Winkler. Synopsis The film follows Lisa, a young woman who runs a bookstore that was left to her by her deceased grandmother. She is bullied by the local mean girl and drug dealer Jess, who also steals a rare book from the store and later sexually assaults her when the two are alone in the bookstore. Lisa tries to report it to the local police, but is met with dismissal as the sheriff is Jess's mom, Deborah "Deb", and the deputy her brother Nick. In retaliation Deb arranges for Lisa to be viciously assaulted and taken out to the woods. They leave her for dead, expecting that she will be mauled to death by wolves. Lisa manages to survive the encounter but is still bitten by a wolf, turning her into a werewolf. Lisa manages to make it to the home of her friend Sam, who is horrified by what has happened. Patrick Rea
Patrick Rea is an American producer, writer and director. Career Rea began creating short films in 2002. He collaborated with Ryan Jones and Josh Robison to found the company SenoReality Pictures, which was a winner in Fangoria's Blood Drive contest. He continued to direct short films, some of which have screened at festivals such as Shriekfest LA and have shown on FangoriaTV, Horror Channel and n8studios.com. His first full-length film, ''The Empty Acr''e, was completed in 2006 and premiered at the Kansas International Film Festival. The DVD was released and nationally distributed in summer 2007. Rea went on to co-direct the 2010 Showtime special ''Jake Johannsen: I Love You'' and in 2012, directed the featurette ''Rhino''. In filmmaking, a pick-up is a small, relatively minor shot filmed or recorded after the fact to augment footage already shot. When entire scenes are redone, it is referred to as a re-shoot or additional photography. On set During principal photography, the director may choose to ask for another take (meaning that every movable object and person in the scene returns to their starting positions and the entire shot is recorded all over again), or may ask for a pick-up shot of only the faulty portion of an otherwise satisfactory take. In the latter situation, the script supervisor is expected to record in their notes that a pick-up shot was called for (so the film editor can understand and correctly edit the resulting footage) and also help prompt or " cue" the relevant actor by reading the last line before that actor's line. FrightFest, also known as Arrow Video FrightFest is an annual film festival held in London and Glasgow. The festival holds three major events each year: a festival running five days over the UK late August Bank Holiday weekend, a Halloween event held in London in late October, and a festival in Glasgow held around February as part of the Glasgow Film Festival. The first event was held in London in 2000 and the first Glasgow festival was held in 2006. As its name indicates FrightFest primary focus is on the horror film genre, however, the event regularly features documentaries, science fiction and thriller films. Rotten Tomatoes is an American review-aggregation website for film and television. The company was launched in August 1998 by three undergraduate students at the University of California, Berkeley: Senh Duong, Patrick Y. Lee, and Stephen Wang. Although the name "Rotten Tomatoes" connects to the practice of audiences throwing rotten tomatoes in disapproval of a poor stage performance, the original inspiration comes from a scene featuring tomatoes in the Canadian film ''Léolo'' (1992).
