''I Am'' is Michael Tolcher's debut album, produced by Pop Rox. It was released on Octone Records on 4 May 2004. Four of the songs had previously appeared on Tolcher's self-titled EP, released in 2003. "Sooner Or Later" was used as the theme song for ABC's 2004-2005 series '' Life As We Know It''. Michael Tolcher
Michael Tolcher is an American singer-songwriter who blends pop, blues, and urban grooves. He was born in Front Royal, Virginia, and has lived most of his life in and around Atlanta, Georgia. Biography Growing up just south of Atlanta, Georgia, Tolcher, who got into music at a young age and wrote his first song at five, had his first public performance in his church choir around the same time. He was into sports his entire life, and ran track at UTC and Georgia Tech. He was injured in 1996 and began to then focus on music. He got his start at the Olympics in Atlanta as a street performer. Tolcher soon began touring in small venues around the country. Eventually arriving in New York City, he recorded his album ''I Am'' with producers Pop Rox in late 2003. Ahmir Khalib Thompson (born January 20, 1971), known professionally as Questlove (stylized as ), is an American musician, record producer, disc jockey, filmmaker, music journalist, and actor. He is the drummer and joint frontman (with Black Thought) for the hip hop band the Roots. The Roots have been serving as the in-house band for ''The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon'' since 2014, having the same role in ''Late Night with Jimmy Fallon''. Eddie Martinez (musician)
Eddie Martinez is an American guitarist, born and raised in New York City and of Puerto Rican ancestry, who mainly performs as a session musician. Career Martinez's professional music career began in the 1960s and continues today. He has recorded and toured with dozens of musicians representing numerous styles (including rock, jazz, rap, and R&B), but he is probably best known for work he did in the mid-1980s. Pop Rock
