IWA World Tag Team Championship
IWA World Tag Team Championship is a Tag Team Championship defended in Puerto Rico.The titles were first introduced in the first incarnation of the International Wrestling Association, where they are defended. They also made a brief appearance in the World Wrestling League La Liga Wrestling (formerly World Wrestling League or Liga Mundial de Lucha), was a wrestling promotion company based out of San Juan, Puerto Rico. Founded in 2012 by businessman Richard Negrín with the cooperation of established wrestling figur ... (WWL) during 2018. It was introduced on January 6, 2000. In 2021, Fernando Tonos and Manny Ferno created a group know as La Alianza IWE with the intention of completing a hostile takeover on behalf of International Wrestling Entertainment. Dennis Rivera (wrestler)
Dennis Alexis Rivera Rodríguez is a Puerto Rican people, Puerto Rican professional wrestler. He is part of a tag team known as La Malicia along Noel Rodríguez, which after holding the International Wrestling Association (Puerto Rico), International Wrestling Association's IWA World Tag Team Championship, World Tag Team Championship on several occasions participated in the only unificatory tag team contest co-sanctioned by the two major Puerto Rican promotions of the 2000s, when they challenged for the World Wrestling Council's titles on September 24, 2011. The result of the match remains controversial, Rivera and Rodríguez were originally declared winners and left the building with both sets of belts, but WWC revoked the original result to a "no contest" minutes later. Chicky Starr
José Anibal Laureano Colón (born June 24, 1958) is a retired Puerto Rican professional wrestler and manager. He is better known by his ring name, Chicky Starr. He's currently the general manager of the International Wrestling Association (IWA) of Puerto Rico. Professional wrestling career Early career (1975–1985) Starr formed a tag team with Antonio Pantojas known as the Peron Brothers for Stampede Wrestling in Canada. They wrestled as heels from 1981-82 in Stampede. Starr often wrestled as a mid-card wrestler and in the opening matches at house shows. From 1984 to mid 1985, Starr performed in San Antonio's Southwest Championship Wrestling (SCW). Andre Tricoteux is a Canadian actor and stuntman, known for playing Colossus in ''Deadpool'' and Orc War Captain in ''Warcraft''. Fidel Sierra
David Canal (born July 27, 1960) is a Cuban professional wrestler better known by his ring name "The Cuban Assassin (El Sanguinario Cubano)" Fidel Sierra. He is notable for being a longtime veteran of the Puerto Rico-based World Wrestling Council as well as for his appearances in World Championship Wrestling and Pacific Northwest Wrestling during the 1980s and 1990s. Levittown, Puerto Rico
Levittown, a community in the San Juan MSA and part of the municipality of Toa Baja, is one of the largest planned communities in Puerto Rico. Per the 2020 census, the population was 25,591. It was developed by Levitt & Sons in 1963. Levittown is divided into eight sections called ''secciones'' (the eighth section was renamed Urb. Fronteras) and several sub-divisions called ''urbanizaciones''.
