IV Liga Świętokrzyskie
IV liga Świętokrzyskie group (grupa świętokrzyska) is one of the groups of IV liga, the fifth level of Polish football league system. The current champions are Korona Kielce II. The league was created in the 2000–01 season after introducing new administrative division of Poland. Until the end of the 2007–08 season, IV liga was the fourth tier of league system, which was changed with the formation of the Ekstraklasa as the top level league in Poland. The clubs from the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship compete in this group. Administrative Division Of Poland
The administrative division of Poland since 1999 has been based on three levels of subdivision. The territory of Poland is divided into ''voivodeships'' (provinces); these are further divided into ''powiats'' (counties or districts), and these in turn are divided into ''gminas'' (communes or municipalities). Major cities normally have the status of both gmina and powiat. Poland currently has 16 voivodeships, 380 powiats (including 66 cities with powiat status), and 2,478 gminas. The current system was introduced pursuant to a series of acts passed by the Polish parliament in 1998, and came into effect on 1 January 1999. Between 1975 and 1998 there had been 49 smaller voivodeships and no powiats (see subdivisions of the Polish People's Republic). The reform created 16 larger voivodeships (largely based on and named after historical regions) and reintroduced powiats. Poland Ekstraklasa (), meaning "Extra Class" in Polish, named PKO Ekstraklasa since the 2019–20 season due to its sponsorship by PKO Bank Polski, is the top Polish professional league for men's association football teams. Contested by 18 clubs, operating a system of promotion and relegation with the I liga, seasons start in July, and end in May or June the following year. Teams play a total of 34 games each. The Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, also known as the Świętokrzyskie Province, and the Holy Cross Voivodeship ( pl, województwo świętokrzyskie ) is a voivodeship (province) of Poland situated in southeastern part of the country, in the historical region of Lesser Poland. Its capital and largest city is Kielce. Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship is bounded by six other voivodeships: Masovian to the north, Lublin to the east, Subcarpathian to the southeast, Lesser Poland to the south, Silesian to the southwest and Łódź to the northwest. III liga, group IV is one of the four groups of III liga, which are competitions of the fourth tier of the Polish football league system. This group was established in 2016, when, after the 2015–16 season, as a result of the reorganization of the III liga in Poland, group VII was merged with group VIII. Responsible for the games taking place in this group are: the Lublin Football Association based in Lublin, the Lesser Poland Football Association based in Kraków, the Subcarpathian Football Association based in Rzeszów and the Holy Cross Football Association based in Kielce. The liga okręgowa (in some voivodeship named klasa okręgowa, English: regional league) is the 6th tier of the Polish football league system. The league is split into 58 groups, and there are present in every voivodeship. Teams promoted from liga okręgowa move up to the IV liga, whilst relegated teams descend to the Klasa A leagues. The exception is the Greater Poland Voivodeship, where the V liga exists as the sixth level; the liga okręgowa represents the seventh level there.
