IRIB Pooya & Nahal (شبکه کودک و نوجوان, ''Shibkâh-e Kudâk vâ Nuju'l'', in Persian), is an Iranian state-owned children's Television channel owned by the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting. History of the Channel The channel was established on July 18, 2012, as IRIB Pooya, and reformed on September 23, 2015. The channel consists of two subchannels, ''Pooya'', launched on September 23, 2015, which is broadcast daily from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., targets a younger audience, mainly consisting of six years and below. ''Nahal'' (which means plant in Persian), launched on September 23, 2015, as ''IRIB Koodak'', but renamed and rebranded on April 18, 2016, broadcast everyday from 7.30 p.m., primarily targets older children. ''Boo!'' is a British children's television series that was broadcast in the United Kingdom on the CBeebies channel, and originally on BBC Two. It features several cartoon characters who play a game similar to hide and seek in a variety of settings. The commentary is performed by an adult male and female narrators and a chorus of children. It was produced by the independent production company Tell-Tale Productions, which was also responsible for ''Tweenies''. From 2007 to 2012, reruns of the show were broadcast in the USA on Qubo. The series aired for a total of 104 episodes and one Christmas special was nominated for a BAFTA in 2002–03. At the end of the programme, a song is sung, usually about matching characters or objects to their shapes or colours. ''Littlest Pet Shop'' is a Flash-animated musical television series produced by DHX Media and Hasbro Studios for Discovery Family. The series is based on the Littlest Pet Shop and Blythe toyline by Hasbro. It centers on Blythe Baxter, a girl who, after moving into an apartment in a city named Downtown City, gains the ability to communicate with animals. Located below her apartment is the eponymous pet store where Blythe works and talks to a group of pets who regularly reside at a daycare in the shop. ''In the Night Garden...'' is a British live action pre-school children's television series, aimed at children aged from one to six years old. It is produced by Ragdoll Productions. The first series of the 2017 '' Hi-5'' revival (also referred to as Series 17) aired between 15 May 2017 and 16 June 2017 on 9Go! in Australia. The series was produced independently with Julie Greene as executive producer. The series began production after the Nine Network renewed its partnership with the Hi-5 franchise in October 2016.
