IRIB Ofogh
IRIB Ofogh (شبكه‌ی افق, ''Shibkâhi-ye 'Feq'', "The Horizon channel" in Persian), is an Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting television channel, is broadcast Worldwide. The channel is one of the newer television channels in Iran and was launched on June 3, 2014 as a test airing only in Tehran, and began broadcasting trailers of its programs at the Alvand station, the third transmitter of Tehran, frequency 578, as channel 22. Ofogh TV channel began airing nationally on December 24, 2014 and officially established on February 27, 2015. The channel currently broadcasts 24 hours a day, which includes documentary, history and religious programs. Sayyed Javad Ramadan Nejad is currently managing the channel. He was appointed to this position in July 2014. According to Ramadan Nejad the channel director-general, the approach of channel's programs is cultural, artistic and social based on the discourse of the Islamic Revolution. Nader Talebzadeh ( fa, نادر طالب‌زاده) also known as Nader Ordoubadi was an Iranian conservative journalist and filmmaker. Early life Talebzadeh was born in 1953 or 1954 in Tehran. His father Mansour Talebzadeh Ordoubadi, was a general officer serving in the Imperial Iranian Army. Several sources claimed that his father was instrumental in 1953 Iranian coup d'état, overthrowing Mohammad Mosaddegh, a claim which Talebzadeh always denied during his lifetime. IRIB TV4 ( fa, شبكه چهار, /ʃæbæke-je tʃɑhɑr/) is one of the 32 national television channels in Iran. Its slogan is "the channel of wisdom." The channel is operated by IRIB and started broadcasting in April 1994, shortly after IRIB TV3 went on air in December 1993. The channel is known to be a more artistic and academic channel than its counterparts.
