The first-generation iPod Touch, (colloquially known as the iPod Touch 1G, iPod Touch 1, or original iPod Touch) is a multi-touch mobile device designed and marketed by Apple Inc. with a touchscreen-based user interface. The touch panel is normally layered on the top of an electronic visual display of an information processing system. Safari is a web browser developed by Apple Inc., Apple. It is built into macOS, iOS, and iPadOS, and uses Apple's open-source software, open-source browser engine, WebKit, which was derived from KHTML. The second-generation iPod Touch (marketed as "the new iPod touch", and colloquially known as the iPod Touch 2G, iPod Touch 2, or iPod 2) is a multi-touch mobile device designed and marketed by Apple Inc. with a touchscreen-based user interface. Two revisions of the device exist, one with an old bootROM exploitable with steaks4ce with a larger device capacity label on the back. MobileMe
MobileMe (branded iTools between 2000 and 2002; .Mac until 2008) is a discontinued subscription-based collection of online services and software offered by Apple Inc. All services were gradually transitioned to and eventually replaced by the free iCloud, and MobileMe ceased on June 30, 2012, with transfers to iCloud being available until July 31, 2012, or data being available for download until that date, when the site finally closed completely. On that date all data was deleted, and email addresses of accounts not transferred to iCloud were marked as unused.
