Intersect (SQL)
Set operations allow the results of multiple queries to be combined into a single result set. Set operators include UNION, INTERSECT, and EXCEPT. UNION operator In SQL the UNION clause combines the results of two SQL queries into a single table of all matching rows. The two queries must result in the same number of columns and compatible data types in order to unite. Any duplicate records are automatically removed unless UNION ALL is used. UNION can be useful in data warehouse applications where tables are not perfectly normalized. A simple example would be a database having tables sales2005 and sales2006 that have identical structures but are separated because of performance considerations. A UNION query could combine results from both tables. Note that UNION ALL does not guarantee the order of rows. Rows from the second operand may appear before, after, or mixed with rows from the first operand. In situations where a specific order is desired, ORDER BY must be used. Note ...

Intersection (group)
Intersection (stylized INTERSECTION) is a Japanese boy band formed by Avex in 2018. Prior to debuting, Kazuma Mitchell was an exclusive model for ''Men's Non-no'' and a student at Harvard University, while William Aoyama was a Junior Olympic swimmer. In October 2018, they released their digital debut single, "Heart of Gold", followed by "Falling" in November 2018, "Body Language" in December 2018, and "You're the Reason" in July 2019. In July 2019, Intersection was announced as the performer of the ending theme song to the 2019 anime adaptation of ''Fruits Basket'' with the song "One Step Closer." Later, on August 21, 2019, they released their first album, ''Intersection'', digitally, with the song "You're the Reason" as the promotional track. In January 2020, they ...

Intersection (aviation)
In aviation, an intersection is a virtual navigational fix that helps aircraft maintain their flight plan. It is usually defined as the intersection (in the geometrical sense) of two VOR radials. They are usually identified as major airway intersections where aircraft, operating under instrument flight rules, often change direction of flight while en route. According to the Federal Aviation Regulations, some intersections are designated as mandatory reporting points for pilots who are not in radar contact with air traffic control. Intersections also play an important role in departure and approach procedures. All intersections have an alphabetical or alphanumeric designation. Near major airports, the intersection designation code typically consists of three letters followed by the runway number. Most other intersection designations consist of five-letter combinations that are either pronounceable or chosen for their mnemonic value, since either air traffic control or the flight ...

DE-9IM
The Dimensionally Extended 9-Intersection Model (DE-9IM) is a topological model and a standard used to describe the spatial relations of two regions (two geometries in two-dimensions, R2), in geometry, point-set topology, geospatial topology, and fields related to computer spatial analysis. The spatial relations expressed by the model are invariant to rotation, translation and scaling transformations. The matrix provides an approach for classifying geometry relations. Roughly speaking, with a true/false matrix domain, there are 512 possible 2D topologic relations, that can be grouped into ''binary classification schemes''. The English language contains about 10 schemes (relations), such as "intersects", "touches" and "equals". When testing two geometries against a scheme, the result is a ''spatial predicate'' named by the scheme. The model was developed by Clementini and others based on the seminal works of Egenhofer and others. It has been used as a basis for standards of ' ...

Intersect (video Game)
''Intersect'', known as ''Digidrive'' in North America and Japan, is a puzzle video game developed by Q-Games and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance in 2006 exclusively in Japan. It is the only game in the '' bit Generations'' series to not be developed by Skip Ltd. It was later re-released for the Nintendo DSi's DSiWare digital distribution service, where it was released outside Japan for the first time. The inspiration came from the police direction of the floats during the Gion Festival in Kyoto. - Updated May 17, 2012 Gameplay The objective of the game is to propel the disc-shaped corevto as many meters as possible before the piston collides into the core and ends the game. The player must direct up to three different varieties of "vehicle," each of a different color, into one of four different lanes. If five of the same vehicle fill up the same lane, a triangle will appear and the lane will change to the same color as the type of vehicle that entered this lane ...

Intersections (Dave House Album)
In mathematics Mathematics is an area of knowledge that includes the topics of numbers, formulas and related structures, shapes and the spaces in which they are contained, and quantities and their changes. These topics are represented in modern mathematics ..., the intersection of two or more objects is another object consisting of everything that is contained in all of the objects simultaneously. For example, in Euclidean geometry, when two Line (geometry), lines in a Plane (geometry), plane are not parallel, their intersection is the Point (geometry), point at which they meet. More generally, in set theory, the intersection of sets is defined to be the set of Element (mathematics), elements which belong to all of them. Unlike the Euclidean definition, this does not presume that the objects under consideration lie in a common space (mathematics), space. Intersection is one of the basic concepts of geometry. An intersection can have various geometric shapes, but a poi ...

Intersections (1985–2005)
''Intersections (1985–2005)'' is a 4-CD and DVD retrospective boxed set by Bruce Hornsby. The tracks are a mixture of previously unreleased live recordings, unreleased studio recordings, and album cuts. The boxed set's title emphasizes the large number of musical collaborations Hornsby has embarked upon during his career, as evidenced by the list of collaborators below. The discs are thematically broken into three categories: "Top 90 Time", "Solo Piano, Tribute Records, Country-Bluegrass, Movie Songs," and "By Request (Favorites and Best Songs)" (two CDs). A full third of the music is previously unreleased; many familiar tracks are presented as unreleased live versions rather than the original studio recordings, and the majority of the remaining tracks are from single b-sides, collaborations and/or tribute albums and movie soundtracks. Some noteworthy collaborations include a piano-and-saxophone duet with Ornette Coleman and a performance with Roger Waters of Pink Floyd's " Co ...

Over the course of the ''Race'', teams travel by airplanes, helicopters, trucks, bicycles, taxicabs, cars, trains, buses, boats and by foot. Teams are progressively eliminated at the end of most legs for being the last to arrive at designated Pit Stops, until only three remain. The first team to arrive at the finish line is awarded the grand prize. Created by Elise Doganieri and Bertram van Munster, the original series has aired in the United States since 2001 and has earned thirteen Primetime Emmy Awards, ten of them for "Outstanding Reality-Competition Program".
