IMI International Top 20 Singles
The IMI International Top 20 Singles is a weekly record chart in India for international singles, published by the Indian Music Industry (IMI) and supported by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI). Launched on 21 June 2021, it is the first official music industry recognised record chart in India. The chart is reviewed by the IMI Charts committee, comprising representatives from Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, Times Music, and Warner Music Group. The chart is formulated by BMAT Music Innovators using streaming data from Amazon Music, Apple Music, and Spotify. The weekly tracking period is from Friday to Thursday, with the chart published the following Monday. "Butter" by BTS was the first number-one song on the chart's inaugural issue dated 21 June 2021. A record chart, in the music industry, also called a music chart, is a ranking of Sound recording and reproduction, recorded music according to certain criteria during a given period. Many different criteria are used in worldwide charts, often in combination. These include record sales, the amount of radio airplay, the number of music download, downloads, and the amount of streaming media, streaming activity. Some charts are specific to a particular musical genre and most to a particular geographical location. The most common period covered by a chart is one week with the chart being printed or broadcast at the end of this time. Summary charts for years and decades are then calculated from their component weekly charts. Emily Mahin Beihold (; born January 21, 1999) is an American singer-songwriter. She released her debut EP ''Infrared'' in 2017. Glass Animals are an English indie pop band formed in Oxford in 2010. Founded and led by singer, songwriter, and producer Dave Bayley, the group also features his childhood friends Joe Seaward, Ed Irwin-Singer and Drew MacFarlane.
