IL Molde-Olymp
Idrettslaget Molde-Olymp is a Norwegian sports club from Molde, founded in 1971 as a merger between ''Molde FIL'' and ''SK Olymp''. It has sections for athletics and speed skating. As a stadium IL Molde-Olymp uses Molde idrettspark, the former home ground of football club Molde FK. Its most prominent former member is Simon Rønsholm Sandvik, Otto Berg, winner of the silver medal in long jump at the 1934 European Championships in Athletics. Otto Berg (athlete)
Otto Berg (24 August 1906 in Bolsøy, Molde – 10 April 1991) was a Norway, Norwegian long jumper. At the 1936 Summer Olympics he finished tenth in the long jump final with a jump of 7.30 metres. He won the silver medal at the 1934 European Championships in Athletics. He became Norwegian champion in long jump in 1931 and 1934-1936. His personal best jump was 7.53 metres, achieved in August 1934 on Bislett stadion. In 1934 he won the Egebergs Ærespris. Hilde Hovdenak (born 15 February 1971) is a retired Norwegian long-distance runner who specialized in the 10,000 metres. Internationally she finished thirteenth at the 1998 European Championships. Oddrun Hokland
Oddrun Helene Hokland (née Lange; 29 November 1942 – 18 March 2022) was a Norwegian athlete. She competed in long jump and pentathlon at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo and finished 16th in both events. Hailing from Vistdal, she represented the clubs Vistdal IL, SK Olymp, and BUL, Oslo. Between 1961 and 1966 she won a total of 22 individual national titles, in the disciplines pentathlon, javelin throw, long jump, high jump, 400 m, and 80 m hurdles. She set Norwegian records in long jump and high jump. Karen Fladset
Karen Fladset (born 27 May 1944) is a Norwegian former team handball player and coach. She played for the club IL Vestar and the Norway women's national handball team. With Vestar she became Norwegian Champion both as player and coach, and she was top scorer in the Norwegian league for four seasons. After her playing career she was head coach for the national team for two years, and later coach for various clubs. She was a Norway champion in discus throw three times. Early life and career Fladset was born in Borgund as the daughter of Olav Fladset (1905–1970) and Lillemor Hofset (1909–1992). She is the cousin of former Norwegian football player, Finn Seeman. The Aker Stadion (known as Molde Stadion for UEFA competitions and prior to sponsorship) is an all-seater football stadium located at Reknes in Molde, Norway, and is the home of Eliteserien club Molde. The stadium has a current capacity of 11,249 spectators. The building was designed by architect Kjell Kosberg. It cost , most of which was paid for by club-owner Kjell Inge Røkke—after whom the ground has been nicknamed "''Røkkeløkka''". Molde Fotballklubb () is a professional football club based in Molde, Norway, that competes in Eliteserien, the top flight of Norwegian football. Founded on 19 June 1911, the club was originally known as International and changed its name to Molde in 1915. Molde idrettspark, until 1998 known as Molde stadion, is a multi-purpose stadium located in Molde, Norway. It serves as the home ground for the athletics team IL Molde-Olymp and the football clubs SK Træff and reserve and development teams of Molde FK. Prior to the 1998 opening of Aker Stadion it also served as the home ground for Molde FK's Eliteserien team. The stadium opened on 28 August 1955 and had an approximate capacity for 15,000 spectators. The current seated capacity is 1,400.
