IK Uppsala Fotboll
IK Uppsala Fotboll is a football club from Uppsala, in Uppsala County, Sweden. The club was established in 2016 when IK Sirius Fotboll's women's department decided to reform as an independent club. It was promoted into the women's Premier Division (Damallsvenskan) for the first time in 2020. The club play their home games at Studenternas IP in Uppsala. The team colours are dark red and white. The club is affiliated to the Upplands Fotbollförbund. On 5 December 2022, the Swedish Football Association announced that Eskilstuna United DFF club was denied for failing to fulfill economic requirements, and weren't allowed to play the 2023 Damallsvenskan and instead were relegated to Elitettan Elitettan ( en, The Elite First) is the second highest division of Swedish women's football. Studenternas IP
Studenternas IP is a multi-use stadium in Uppsala, Sweden and the home arena for the football clubs IK Sirius Fotboll on the men's side and IK Uppsala Fotboll on the women's and in bandy for IK Sirius in Elitserien Elitserien (literally, "the Elite League") is the name of several Swedish nationwide sport leagues. In many sports, Elitserien is the highest league, with the second highest named Allsvenskan. Elitserien leagues at present: * Elitserien (badmint ... and several other bandy teams. It was inaugurated on 21 March 1909. The summer arena has a total capacity of 10,522 spectators and the winter arena 4,700. The bandy finals were played here from 1991 until 2012.
