II Federal Electoral District Of Baja California Sur
The Second Federal Electoral District of Baja California Sur ''(II Distrito Electoral Federal de Baja California Sur)'' is one of the 300 Electoral Districts into which Mexico is divided for the purpose of elections to the federal Chamber of Deputies and one of two such districts in the state of Baja California Sur. It elects one deputy to the lower house of Congress for each three-year legislative period, by means of the first past the post system. District territory It covers the municipality of Los Cabos and the easternmost third of the municipality of La Paz. The district's head town ''(cabecera distrital)'', where results from individual polling stations are gathered together and collated, is the state capital, La Paz. Narciso Agúndez Montaño
Narciso Agúndez Montaño (born 26 October 1958) is a Mexican former politician who served as governor of Baja California Sur from 2005 to 2011. Elected on February 6, 2005, he took office on April 5, 2005, and is the second member of Party of the Democratic Revolution to hold the office of governor in Baja California Sur, after his predecessor and cousin Leonel Cota Montaño. A graduate of the Autonomous University of Baja California Sur, he began his political career in 1984 as Director of the Promotion of Agriculture in Los Cabos, and in 1986 became the Director of Municipal Services there. Rodimiro Amaya Téllez (born 7 October 1954) is a Mexican politician affiliated with the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). As of 2014 he served as Senator of the LVIII Legislature of the Mexican Congress, LVIII and LIX Legislature of the Mexican Congress, LIX Legislatures of the Mexican Congress representing Baja California Sur. He also served as deputy during the LVI Legislature.
