Moderat is a German electronic music supergroup originating in Berlin between Sascha Ring, also known as Apparat, and Modeselektor members Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary. The band have released four studio albums to date, their most recent being ''More D4ta'', released on May 13, 2022. The group was voted "The #1 Live Act of the Year" in 2009 by the readers of ''Resident Advisor''. History Moderat's first release was an EP, ''Auf Kosten der Gesundheit'' ("At the Cost of Health") in 2003. Their first full-length album, ''Moderat'', received mostly favorable reviews. It catalogs more than three million album entries and 30 million tracks, as well as information on musicians and bands. It was established in 1992, when major corporate labels left the previously existing Associazione dei Fonografici Italiani (AFI). During the following years, most of the remaining Italian record labels left AFI to join the new organisation. As of 2011, FIMI represents 2,500 companies operating in the music business. FIMI is a member of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry and of the Italian employers' federation, Confindustria. Its main purpose is to protect the interests of the Italian record industry. Starting in March 1995, the Italian Music Industry Federation began providing the Italian official albums chart. A trilogy is a set of three works of art that are connected and can be seen either as a single work or as three individual works.
