Ittihad Baladiat Khemis El Khachna ( ar, إتحاد بلدية خميس الخشنة), known as IB Khémis El Khechna or simply IBKEK for short, IB Khémis El Khechna is an Algerian football club located in Khemis El Khechna, Algeria. The club was founded in 1932 and its colours are black and white. Their home stadium, Abdelkader Zerrouki Stadium, has a capacity of 8,000 spectators. Abd al-Qadir or Abdulkadir ( ar, عبد القادر) is a male Muslim given name. It is formed from the Arabic words '' Abd'', ''al-'' and '' Qadir''. The name means "servant of the powerful", ''Al-Qādir'' being one of the names of God in the Qur'an, which give rise to the Muslim theophoric names. It was professional from 2010 to 2020. History The league was created in 1962, when Algeria became an independent nation, and has been played in a number of different formats. In 2010, the league became fully professional. Prior to the start of the 2010 season, the name of the league was changed to the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 2 to reflect the professionalization of the league. Khemis El-Khachna is a town and Communes of Algeria, commune in Boumerdès Province, Algeria. According to the 2008 census it has a population of 46,965. Geography The town of Khemis el Kkhechna is built upon haouch belakehal, former property of the area of the khachnas of the plain. The settlers used the Arabic word fendek to locate the area that will take the name of Fondouk. A hotel existed there before 1830, in this hotel stayed the surveyors to establish the rise and the delimitation of the Arab properties of the region of the khachnas of the plain and the khachnas of the mountain.
