IAFL 2011 Season
The 2011 IAFL season was the 25th regular season of the Irish American Football League. The regular season began on Sunday, March 6, at the UCD Bowl featuring 2 of the University sides in the competition. Trinity College defeated UCD 20 - 16. Marcus Naylor, safety of the Dublin Rebels, was named MVP for the 2011 season. In Shamrock Bowl XXV, the League's championship game, played at Morton Stadium in Santry, Dublin, the Dublin Rebels defeated the UL Vikings to win their seventh Shamrock Bowl. Schedule Opening Weekend The IAFL Kickoff Game, the first game of the season took place on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at 1 pm IST with the University Bowl Game featuring UCD taking on Trinity College at the UCD Bowl in the IAFL College Championship Game. Season (sports)

Cork Admirals
The Cork Admirals are an American Football team that play in the Irish American Football League (IAFL). The team is based in Presentation Brothers College, Cork, Presentation Brothers College Sports Ground, Cork (city), Cork. The team was formed in 2001, playing along with 4 other teams that year. The Admirals became one of the best teams in the IAFL, appearing in the playoffs semifinals numerous times. The teams also held a reputation for a lot of records in the IAFL mostly in points in a game and rushing. History The Admirals first game was in December 2002. In a rain soaked game the Admirals lost 28–18 to the Dublin Rebels in an 8-a-side challenge match. Despite the loss the performance held encouraging signs for the team, and increased enthusiasm in the club. The team stepped up to 11-a-side for the next two friendly matches. Craigavon, County Armagh
Craigavon ( ) () is a town in northern County Armagh, Northern Ireland. Its construction began in 1965 and it was named after the first Prime Minister of Northern Ireland: James Craig, 1st Viscount Craigavon. It was intended to be the heart of a new Linear settlement, linear city incorporating Lurgan and Portadown, but this plan was mostly abandoned and later described as having been flawed. Among local people today, "Craigavon" refers to the area between the two towns. It is built beside a pair of artificial lakes and is made up of a large residential area (Brownlow), a second smaller one (Mandeville), plus a central area (Highfield) that includes a substantial shopping centre, a courthouse and the Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon District Council, district council headquarters. Belfield, Dublin
Belfield is a small enclave, not quite a suburb, in Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown, Ireland. It is synonymous with the main campus of University College Dublin. The University of Limerick (UL) ( ga, Ollscoil Luimnigh) is a Public university, public research university institution in Limerick, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. Carrickfergus
Carrickfergus ( , meaning " Fergus' rock") is a large town in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It sits on the north shore of Belfast Lough, from Belfast. The town had a population of 27,998 at the 2011 Census. It is County Antrim's oldest town and one of the oldest towns in Ireland as a whole. Malone RFC (Malone Rugby Football Club) is a rugby union club based in Belfast, in Northern Ireland. It is currently in the Division 1B of the All-Ireland League. The club is affiliated with the Ulster Branch, itself part of the Irish Rugby Football Union. The University of Limerick Vikings are the American football team from the University of Limerick in Limerick, Ireland. The team currently competes in the American Football Ireland Division One. The Vikings have won three IAFL Shamrock Bowl titles – in 2007, 2008 and 2009 and the Atlantic Cup in 2010. The Vikings' all-time record is 54–30–4 (0.580).
