Micronesian languages are known for their lack of plain labial consonants; they have instead two series, palatalized and labio-velarized labials. Classification Puluwatese has two dialects, Pulapese and Pulusukes, both of which have low intelligibility with Satawalese (64%), Woleaian (40%), and Ulithian (21%).
