''I-Land'' (; stylised in all caps) is a South Korean boy group survival reality show organised by Belift Lab, a joint venture between entertainment companies CJ E&M and Hybe Corporation. Twenty-three male trainees participated in the show, of which seven were selected to debut as Enhypen in the show's finale on September 18, 2020. Enhypen
Enhypen (; ja, エンハイプン; ''Enhaipun''; stylized as ENHYPEN) is a South Korean boy band formed by Belift Lab, a joint venture between CJ ENM and Hybe Corporation, through the 2020 survival competition show ''I-Land''. The group is composed of seven members: Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-ki. They debuted on November 30, 2020, with the extended play (EP) '' Border: Day One.'' Name The group's name, Enhypen, was introduced during the live broadcast of the final episode of ''I-Land''. Etymologically, Enhypen derives its name from the hyphen symbol (-), representing "Connection, Discovery, & Growth". Park Sung-hoon (; born December 8, 2002), known mononymously as Sunghoon, is a South Korean singer, former presenter and former figure skater. He competed as a figure skater from 2010 to early 2020; while simultaneously being a Bighit Music trainee since 2018, later transferring to Belift Lab. He retired from the sport and debuted as a member of the South Korean boy band Enhypen in November 2020. Woo Ji-ho (; born September 14, 1992), known professionally as Zico (), is a South Korean rapper, record producer, singer and songwriter.
