I'm Not A Gun
I'm Not a Gun is an American post-rock and electronica musical duo by John Tejada and Takeshi Nishimoto, formed in 2000. Background Tejada and Nishimoto met in 1998 and discovered that they took inspiration from the same musicians. Shortly afterward, they held several recording sessions and eventually released multiple albums on the City Centre Offices imprint. Their music has been remixed by several artists, including Dntel, Ulrich Schnauss, and Polar. The duo's music has been compared to that of the Chicago-based post-rock Post-rock is a form of experimental rock characterized by a focus on exploring textures and timbre over traditional rock song structures, chords, or riffs. Tortoise is an American post-rock band formed in Chicago, Illinois in 1990. The band incorporates krautrock, dub, minimal music, electronica and jazz into their music, a combination sometimes termed "post-rock". Kjetil Dale Sagstad, better known by his stage name Polar or K, is a Norwegian electronic music artist. He is originally from Meland in Norway, and grew up with his former musical partner Teebee. Ulrich Schnauss
Ulrich Schnauss (born 1977) is a German electronic musician and producer based in London, England. He is best known for being a member of Tangerine Dream from 2014 to 2020. Biography Ulrich Schnauss was born in the northern German seaport of Kiel in 1977. He had piano lessons when he was seven. He became interested in a range of music: My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, Tangerine Dream, Chapterhouse, and early bleep and breakbeat tracks. There was not much opportunity to see his musical influences in Kiel, so he moved to Berlin in 1996. Schnauss' musical output began under the pseudonyms of View to the Future and Ethereal 77.
