I'm Back (film)
''I'm Back'' ( it, Sono tornato) is a 2018 Italian satirical comedy film about Benito Mussolini directed by Luca Miniero, based on the German film ''Look Who's Back'', in turn based on the satirical novel of the same name. The film includes unscripted vignettes of ordinary Italians interacting with Massimo Popolizio (pretending to be Benito Mussolini), interspersed among scripted scenes. Plot In 2017 Rome, Benito Mussolini (Massimo Popolizio) falls from the sky in front of the Alchemical Door. As he wanders, disoriented and believing it still to be 1945, through the city, he interprets modern situations and things from a Fascist perspective. Asking for information, nobody believing him to be the real Mussolini, he's in the end pepper sprayed by a scared woman and starts to feel dizzy. Before passing out, he arrives at a newspaper kiosk owned by a gay couple and is able to read the date, discovering that it is 2017, on the front page of a journal. Luca Miniero
Luca Miniero (born 17 January 1967) is an Italian director and screenwriter. Life and career Born in Naples, after graduating in Letters Miniero moved to Milan where he started working as a director of commercial shorts. In 1998 he started collaborating with Paolo Genovese co-writing and co-directing the short film ''La scoperta di Walter''; the duo made their feature film debut in 2002, with the critical acclaimed comedy film '' A Neapolitan Spell''. Miniero made his solo-directing debut in 2010, directing the box office hit '' Benvenuti al Sud''. Claretta Petacci
Clara Petacci, known as Claretta Petacci (; 28 February 1912 – 28 April 1945), was a mistress of the Italian dictator Benito Mussolini. She was killed during Mussolini's execution by Italian partisans. Early life Daughter of Giuseppina Persichetti (1888–1962) and the physician Francesco Saverio Petacci (1883–1970), Clara Petacci was born into a privileged and religious family in Rome in 1912. Her father, a physician of the Holy Apostolic Palaces, became a supporter of fascism. A child when Mussolini rose to power in the 1920s, Clara Petacci idolised him from an early age.
