Hélène Pelosse
Hélène Pelosse (born 5 March 1970) was the first elected Interim Director-General of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). She served in this position for 15 months, from 30 June 2009 until 19 October 2010. Pelosse is a citizen of France and was born in Montreal, Canada. International Renewable Energy Agency
The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) is an intergovernmental organization mandated to facilitate cooperation, advance knowledge, and promote the adoption and sustainable use of renewable energy. It is the first international organisation to focus exclusively on renewable energy, addressing needs in both industrialised and developing countries. Adnan Z. Amin (born 1957) is a Kenyan diplomat and a Development economics, development economist with a specialty in sustainable development. He served as the first Director general, Director-General of the Abu Dhabi-based intergovernmental organisation, the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).
