Hålogaland Fotballkrets
The Hålogaland Fotballkrets ''(Hålogaland Football Association)'' is one of the 18 district organisations of the Norwegian Football Federation. It administers lower tier football in the traditional district of Sør-Troms, Ofoten, Lofoten and most of Vesterålen. Harstad
( se, Hárstták) is the second-most populated municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. It is mostly located on the large island of Hinnøya. The municipal center is the Harstad (town), town of Harstad, the most populous town in Central Hålogaland, and the third-largest in all of Northern Norway. The town was incorporated in 1904. Villages in the municipality include Elgsnes, Fauskevåg, Gausvik, Grøtavær, Kasfjord, Lundenes, Nergården and Sørvika. The District Football Associations are the local governing bodies of association football in Norway. District FAs exist to govern all aspects of local football in their defined areas, providing grassroots support to the Norwegian Football Federation by promoting and administering football, futsal and beach soccer in their respective districts. Skånland OIF
Skånland ( sme, Skánit) is a former municipality that was located in the old Troms county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1926 until its dissolution in 2020 when it was merged into Tjeldsund Municipality. It was part of the Central Hålogaland region, just southeast of the city of Harstad. The administrative centre of the municipality was the village of Evenskjer. Other villages included Grovfjord, Renså, Sandstrand, and Tovik. The Tjeldsund Bridge in Skånland connects the island of Hinnøya (the largest coastal island in Norway) to the Norwegian mainland. FK Mjølner
FK Mjølner is a Norwegian football club from Narvik. It currently plays in the 3. divisjon, after having been relegated from the 2. divisjon in 2019. The club played at the top tier in 1972 and 1989. History It is named after Mjöllnir in Norse mythology. It was formed in 1932 when ''Støa Mjølner'' (until 1926: ''FK Steady 1919 Mjølner'') and ''King Mjølner'' (until 1921: ''FK Freidig 1918 Mjølner'') merged. The club was called Mjølner until 1994, when the name was changed to ''Mjølner-Narvik''. In October 1997 the club merged with local rivals FK Narvik/Nor. The merger club took the name Narvik FK. In February 2005 Narvik FK changed the name back to FK Mjølner. FK Mjølner was the first club from Northern Norway allowed to play in the Norwegian top division. Medkila IL
Medkila IL is a football team from Harstad in North Norway, most notable for its women's football team which is playing in the 1. divisjon, the second tier of Norwegian women's football. Medkila first came to prominence after winning the 2003 Norwegian Women's Cup while playing in the First Division. Medkila knocked out Leknes FK (1-10), Grand Bodø (1-5), IF Fløya (2-1), IL Sandviken (6-1) and Team Strømmen (1-3), and beat Kolbotn (2-1) in the final. That same year they were promoted to Toppserien for the first time. Medkila couldn't avoid relegation in their first season in top-flight and were back in 1. divisjon for the 2005 season. Five years later they were promoted for the 2011 Toppserien, but as last time they were relegated after only one season. FK Lofoten
FK Lofoten is a Norwegian football club, currently playing in the 4. Divisjon. The club was formed as a merger between Svolvær IL and Kabelvåg IL in 1992. The club played in the 1. divisjon in the 1999 season, but was relegated after one season. History The club played in the 1. divisjon in the 1999 season, but they were however relegated in their only season at the second tier. In the decisive match on 17 October 1999, Lofoten had to win away against Sogndal while Byåsen and Skjetten had to draw if Lofoten was going to avoid relegation. Lofoten did their job by beating Sogndal 2–0, and in the match between Byåsen and Skjetten the score was 1-1 after 90 minutes. Byåsen did however score a winning goal in the stoppage time and Lofoten were relegated. The goal for the 2000 season was to again win promotion. Harstad IL
Harstad Idrettslag is a Norwegian sports club from Harstad, Troms. It has association football, futsal and nordic skiing sections. The club formerly had sections for track and field, skiing and speed skating, but this was discontinued in 1987. The club colors are yellow and black, and their home field is Harstad stadion. This was Norway's first football stadium with artificial turf. The men's football team currently plays in the 4. divisjon, the fifth tier of Norwegian football. The team last played in the Norwegian First Division in 1997. After that they had a long run in the Second Division. It played in the Third Division in 2003, but won their group and won the playoff 5–2 on aggregate against Innstranden. Troms
