Hässelby Villastad
Hässelby Villastad is a city district of Stockholm, in the north-western part of the Swedish capital Stockholm. It forms part of Västerort, Stockholm Municipality. Stretching west to Lake Mälaren, it is largely a high-class area with notable landmarks being the central commercial area Åkermyntan, and the big landfill Lövsta, which was used for all of Stockholm's refuse from the late 19th century to about 1950. Schools The city district has several schools, the biggest are Hässelby Villastadsskolan, Trollbodaskolan, and Smedshagsskolan, with all having approximately 1,000 students each. Attractions Riddersvik is a park and a mansion with two wings. Today used for conferences and a restaurant, it was originally built for a businessman in the 18th century, who used it as a leisure park. Stockholm Municipality
Stockholm Municipality or the City of Stockholm ( sv, Stockholms kommun or ) is a municipality in Stockholm County in east central Sweden. It has the largest population of the 290 municipalities of the country, but one of the smallest areas, making it the second most densely populated. Västerort (sometimes translated to ''West Stockholm'') is the western part of Stockholm Municipality in Stockholm County, Sweden. It also forms part of Stockholm urban area and of Metropolitan Stockholm, Stockholm Metropolitan Area. It constitutes the western suburban area within Stockholm's municipal borders. Mälaren
Mälaren ( , , or ), historically referred to as Lake Malar in English, is the third-largest freshwater lake in Sweden (after Vänern and Vättern). Its area is 1,140 km2 and its greatest depth is 64 m. Mälaren spans 120 kilometers from east to west. The lake drains, from south-west to north-east, into the Baltic Sea through its natural outlets Norrström and Söderström (as it flows around Stadsholmen island) and through the artificial Södertälje Canal and Hammarbyleden waterway.
