Chae Hyung-won (, born January 15, 1994), mononymously as Hyungwon, is a South Korean singer, dancer, actor, model, DJ, songwriter, and producer. In 2015, he debuted in the South Korean boy group Monsta X, through the Mnet's survival show ''No.Mercy'', under Starship Entertainment. In 2017, he began performing as a DJ, under the stage name DJ H.ONE. Career Early life and debut Hyungwon was born in Gwangju, South Korea on January 15, 1994. In 2014, while being a trainee at Starship Entertainment, he worked as a model for various fashion shows, such as W Hotel and Ceci Fashion Show. Cha Hyung-won
Cha Hyung-won (; September 5, 1890 – July 2, 1972), was designated as Ingan-munhwage on 16 January 1967 for the Gangneung Danoje festival, which is one of the Important Intangible Cultural Properties of Korea. He was specialized in Gwanno-Masque playing, a kind of pantomime. It was a satire of the caste system by members of the ''gwanno'' class. Biography Cha was born on 5 September 1890 in Gangneung, Korea. His father, Cha In-sil (), lived in 132 dong Gangneung Seongnamdong. When he was 17 years old, he saw the last gwanno-Masque playing at the Gangneung Danoje festival in 1907 before it disappeared in the latter era of the Choson Dynasty. As the gwanno-Masque playing was performed by gwanno, a man slave in government employ, Cha denied that he was gwanno. Yu Hyeong-won
Yu Hyeongwon (1622–1673), also spelled as Yoo Hyung-Won, was a Korean philosopher and politician. He was a Neo-Confucianist and science scholar of the Korean Joseon Dynasty. He was Korean pioneer of the early silhak ("practical learning") school as well as an avid social critic and scholar of the late Joseon period. He was the disciple of Misu Heo Mok and second cousin of the silhak scholar Seongho Yi Ik. Yu hailed from the Munhwa Yu clan, and many of his extended family members held high official positions in the Joseon government. Monsta X (; stylized as MONSTA X) is a South Korean boy group formed through the reality survival program ''No.Mercy'' under Starship Entertainment.
