Hyundai I-oniq
The Hyundai i-oniq (also known as the i.oniq and HED-8) was a concept sporty three-door hatchback designed and built by Hyundai Motor Corporation that featured a battery electric powertrain supplemented by a range extending gasoline engine, introduced in March 2012 at the Geneva Motor Show. Its name is a portmanteau of the words "ion" and "unique", which was later reused in 2016 when Hyundai began selling the Hyundai Ioniq. Hyundai subsequently launched the sub-brand Ioniq in 2020 to market electric vehicles built on the E-GMP architecture. Design Hyundai state the i-oniq follows the "fluidic sculpture" design language introduced in 2010 with the i-flow concept vehicle. It was designed at the Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Centre in Russelsheim, Germany, under the leadership of Thomas Bürkle. The Paris Motor Show (french: Mondial de l'Automobile) is a biennial auto show in Paris. Held during October, it is one of the most important auto shows, often with many new production automobile and concept car debuts. The show presently takes place in Paris expo Porte de Versailles. The ''Mondial'' is scheduled by the ''Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs d'Automobiles'', which considers it a major international auto show. Pepper's Ghost
Pepper's ghost is an illusion technique used in the theatre, cinema, amusement parks, museums, television, and concerts. It is named after the English scientist John Henry Pepper (1821–1900) who began popularising the effect with a theatre demonstration in 1862. This launched an international vogue for ghost-themed plays, which used this novel stage effect, during the 1860s and subsequent decades. The illusion is widely used for entertainment and publicity purposes. These include the Girl-to-Gorilla trick found in old carnival sideshows and the appearance of "ghosts" at the Haunted Mansion and the "Blue Fairy" in Pinocchio's Daring Journey, both at Disneyland in California. Hyundai E-GMP (''Electric Global Modular Platform'') is a dedicated battery electric vehicle platform for Hyundai Motor Group automobiles. It is the first electric-only dedicated platform by Hyundai. It has been used for Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis automobiles starting in 2021. It follows Hyundai's earlier Power Electric System (PE System), which describes the drivetrain of an electric vehicle, including the traction motor, storage battery, and power electronics.
