''Hurry Up, We're Dreaming'' (stylised as ) is the sixth studio album by French electronic music band M83. The album was released on 18 October 2011, by Naïve Records in France and by Mute Records in the United States. The album was the last M83 album with keyboardist Morgan Kibby and the band's first full double album. The album received generally favourable reviews from critics. It debuted at number 15 on the US ''Billboard'' 200 with first-week sales of 21,000 copies, making it M83's highest-charting album to date. It sold 300,000 copies in the United States as of March 2016. The album was nominated for Best Alternative Music Album at the 2013 Grammy Awards and was ranked at number 134 on ''Pitchfork'' list of "The 200 Best Albums of the 2010s" in October 2019. M83 (band)
M83 are a French electronic music group formed in Antibes in 1999 and currently based in Los Angeles. Initially a duo of multi-instrumentalists Nicolas Fromageau and Anthony Gonzalez, Fromageau parted ways shortly after touring for their second album '' Dead Cities, Red Seas & Lost Ghosts''. Gonzalez remains the sole constant member of the project, serving as the primary songwriter and lead vocalist. The band has released eight studio albums, including the Grammy Award-nominated ''Hurry Up, We're Dreaming'', and two soundtracks. The Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album is an award presented to recording artists for quality albums in the alternative genre at the Grammy Awards, a ceremony that was established in 1958 and originally called the Gramophone Awards. A double album (or double record) is an audio album that spans two units of the primary medium in which it is sold, typically either records or compact disc. Morgan Grace Kibby (born May 3, 1984) is an American singer, songwriter, record producer and former actress based in Los Angeles, California. She is best known as a member and collaborator of the French electronic group M83 between 2008 and 2015, contributing to the albums, '' Saturdays = Youth'' (2008), ''Hurry Up, We're Dreaming'' (2011) and ''You and the Night'' (2015). During her time in M83, Kibby co-wrote the singles, "Kim & Jessie, "Midnight City", "Reunion" and "Wait" with core member Anthony Gonzalez.
