Hum Mart was a Pakistani online store operated by Hum Network. It became defunct in 2020. It was founded in 2018 by Malik Faisal Qayyum and Duraid Qureshi. It first started operations as an online retail grocery store across Karachi and now it is also selling additional categories of consumer products like mobile phones, electronics, cosmetics, and toys across Pakistan. It is a current member of Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (APBU), Association for International Broadcasting (AIB), and Commonwealth Broadcasting Association (CBA). History Hum Network Limited was established in February 2004 with the name of Eye TV Limited which was later changed to Eye Television Network Limited on 18 November 2004. The present name, Hum Network, was adopted on 21 January 2011. Company is registered with Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority in October 2004 to operate its first satellite channel Hum TV which went live in January 2005. Airlift Technologies was a Pakistani company that initially started its operations in Pakistan as a Mass Transit ride hailing service. Amidst COVID 19 and a total lockdown in Pakistan, the company was unable to continue its operations and quickly pivoted into instant delivery service. It was founded in March 2019. It closed all operations on 13 July 2022. Customers of the company used a mobile application or website to order groceries and essentials online, and airlift and secure the items from their warehouse, delivering the items to the consumer within 30 minutes. History The idea of Airlift was conceived by the founding Chief Executive Usman Gul after he experienced the congestion during his visit to Lahore for vacations which was caused by the inefficiency of local transportation.
