Hudson Mukasa
Hudson Mukasa is a Major General in the Uganda People's Defence Forces (UPDF). Since June 2016, he has been the Military Attaché to Uganda's Embassy to Kenya, based in Nairobi. Before that he served as the Military Attaché at Uganda's Embassy to Burundi, based in Bujumbura. Background and education He was born in the Buganda Region of Uganda in the 1963. He attended the military cadet course at the Tanzania Military Academy, in Monduli, in the late 1980s. He then attended a Senior Staff and Command course in the early 1990s, in Ghana. He has also graduated from the National Strategic Studies Course, at the National Defence College, Kenya. Michael Kabango
Brigadier Michael Kabango is an Ugandan military officer, who serves as the commander of the Ugandan contingent to the African Union Mission to Somalia (AMISOM). He took up that position on 21 December 2018. Background and education He was born in Uganda and attended local primary schools. He obtained his High School Diploma from Mutolere Senior Secondary School, in Mutolere, Kisoro District, in the Western Region, of Uganda. Later, he graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Kampala International University. General David Rubakuba Muhoozi is a Ugandan Military Officer and Lawyer. He currently serves as the Minister of State for Internal Affairs. Major General Richard Prit Olum, commonly known as Dick Olum, is a military officer in the Uganda People's Defence Force (UPDF), who serves as the Ugandan commander of the UPDF forces in the Democratic Republic of the Congo under the joint Uganda/DRC mission code named ''Operation Shujaa''. The Lord's Resistance Army (LRA), also known as the Lord's Resistance Movement, is a rebel group and heterodox Christian group which operates in northern Uganda, South Sudan, the Central African Republic, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Lira is a city in the Northern Region, Uganda, Northern Region of Uganda. It is the main municipal, administrative, and commercial centre of Lira District. History Lira was one of the last towns in Uganda held by loyalists of Idi Amin during the Uganda–Tanzania War (1978–1979).
