Orléans Masters
The Orléans Masters championships is an open badminton tournament held in France. This tournament is organized by the Cercle Laïque des Tourelles Orléans (CLTO) Badminton and held in the Palais des Sports in Orléans. This tournament began as a regional event in 1994, and later included as national event in 1999. In 2012, this tournament known as French International as a part of European circuit and sanctioned by the Badminton World Federation as International Series. The French International upgraded its level as International Challenge in 2013, and changed its name to Orléans International in 2015, to avoid confusion with the already established French Open held in Paris. In June 2017, the Badminton World Federation has accepted the candidacy of CLTO to organized of a higher ranking tournament. Badminton World Federation
The Badminton World Federation (BWF) is the international governing body for the sport of badminton recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). It was founded in 1934 as the International Badminton Federation (IBF) with nine member nations (Canada, Denmark, England, France, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Scotland and Wales). In 1981 the IBF merged with the World Badminton Federation, and on 24 September 2006, at the Extraordinary General Meeting in Madrid, the name of the organization was changed to Badminton World Federation (BWF). Shevon Jemie Lai (born 8 August 1993) is a Malaysian badminton player. Career She started playing badminton at her primary school SJKC Kuen Cheng 2, then in 2011 she joined the Malaysia national badminton team. Mohd Lutfi Zaim Abdul Khalid (born 3 October 1989) is a former Malaysian male badminton player. In 2007, he reached the final round of the Asian Junior Championships in the boys' doubles event and won the silver medal after being defeated by the Chinese pair. Nur Mohd Azriyn Ayub (born 19 July 1993) is a Malaysian badminton player. He was one of the players that helped the Malaysian team to win gold at the 2011 BWF World Junior Championships. Career In 2013, he won the gold medals in the men's singles and men's team event at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Palembang, Indonesia. Lee Yang (; born 12 August 1995) is a Taiwanese badminton player and 2020 Olympics men's doubles champion. Career Lee played in the men's doubles with Lee Jhe-huei. They were champions in 2016 at the Vietnam Open Grand Prix. In 2015, together they entered the 2015 Chinese Taipei Masters Grand Prix, 2015 Vietnam Open Grand Prix, and 2015 Korea Masters Grand Prix Gold.
