The 2019 Orléans Masters was a badminton tournament which took place at Palais des Sports in France from 19 to 24 March 2019 and had a total purse of $75,000. Li Shifeng (; born 9 January 2000) is a Chinese badminton player. He started playing badminton when he was 6 years old, getting support from his father. Li then practiced in the Jiangxi team when he was in the elementary school, after that went to the Bayi team. At the age of 14, he participated in the National youth team training centre in Shenyang and entered the National second team in 2017. Thomas Rouxel (born 26 May 1991) is a French badminton player affiliated with Chambly Oise club. In 2016, he won the silver medal at the European Men's Team Championships in Kazan, Russia. Toma Junior Popov
Toma Junior Popov (born 29 September 1998) is a French badminton player. He won the bronze medal at the 2015 European Junior Championships in the boys' singles event. Popov made history as the first non-Danish male player to win a European Junior team gold as well as the men's singles and doubles in 2017. Parupalli Kashyap (born 8 September 1986) is an Indian badminton player. A former World No.6, he trains at Gopichand Badminton Academy. He was awarded the Arjuna Award by the Government of India in 2012. He created history by reaching the quarter-finals of men's singles at the 2012 London Olympics, being the first male player from India to do so. Mark Caljouw
Mark Caljouw (born 25 January 1995) is a Dutch badminton player. He started playing badminton aged eight, at BC Randstad in Rijswijk. Career Caljouw was selected to join the national team in 2008, and made a debut in international senior tournament in 2012. Caljouw competed at the 2013 European Junior Championships in Ankara, Turkey, winning a silver medal in the boys' singles event, and also a bronze medal in the mixed team event. He was selected by Badminton Europe to join the Player Development Plan "Future Stars". Caljouw won the men's singles National Championships title in 2017, beating defending champion Erik Meijs in the semi-finals and first seeded Nick Fransman in the final.
