Hsu Shui-teh
Hsu Shui-teh (; 1 August 1931 – 31 March 2021) was a Taiwanese politician. He was the President of the Examination Yuan from 1996 to 2002. He died of pneumonia on 31 March 2021, at the age of 89. Su Nan-cheng
Su Nan-cheng (; 14 January 1936 – 2 September 2014) was a Taiwanese politician and Senior Advisor to ROC President Chen Shui-bian. He was a mayor of Tainan, serving from 1977 to 1985, and an appointed mayor of Kaohsiung, serving from 1985 to 1990. He was the speaker of the ROC National Assembly in 1999. Su was in the Kuomintang and was part of the faction that supported the Taiwanese localization movement. He was expelled from the KMT twice: first in 1972 for violating a party resolution and running for Tainan City Mayor as an independent; second in 1999 for forwarding a term-extension amendment in the National Assembly against party orders. Chuang Ming-yao
Chuang Ming-yao (; 16 November 1929 – 6 January 2002) was a Taiwanese admiral, diplomat, and politician. Chuang served as the Vice Minister of National Defense under Chen Li-an and was named commander of the Republic of China Navy in 1992. He stepped down from that position in 1994 as a result of the La Fayette-class frigate scandal. Two years later, Chuang was selected to lead the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in Japan. In May 2000, he was named the Secretary-General of the National Security Council. Yao Chia-wen
Yao Chia-wen (; born 15 June 1938) is a Taiwanese politician. He was the second chairperson of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), serving from 1987 to 1988. He was a member of the Legislative Yuan from 1993 to 1996, and president of the Examination Yuan between 2002 and 2008. Early life Born in Wabi Town, Shōka District, Taichū Prefecture, Japanese Taiwan (modern-day Hemei, Changhua, Taiwan), Yao has eleven younger siblings. In 1957, he started working as a clerk in the Bureau of Telecommunications, which is now the Chunghwa Telecom. Yao studied law at the National Taiwan University in Taipei. He passed the bar exam in 1966 and got his master's degree in law two years later.
