Hrudaya Sangama
''Hrudaya Sangama'' is a 1972 Indian Kannada language drama film directed by Rashi Brothers and produced by MJM Productions. It starred Rajkumar and Bharathi. The film was part black-and-white and part color, thus making it a partial color film. Vijaya Bhaskar scored the music and the story was written by H. N. Muddukrishna.The movie saw a theatrical run of 18 weeks. The film, upon release, was critically acclaimed and went on to win the Karnataka State Award for fourth best film for the year 1972–73. Rajkumar plays a dual role in the movie. However, this movie is not considered as a movie with double role since the second character appears only for three minutes on-screen in spite of it being an important plot twist. Bharathi (actress)
Bharathi Vishnuvardhan (born 15 August 1950), also known mononymously as Bharathi, is an Indian actress known primarily for her work in Kannada cinema and television serials. She began her career in 1966, as a lead actress, with the Kannada movie ''Love in Bangalore.'' In a career spanning over 50 years, Bharathi has appeared in 150 films. Apart from 100 films in Kannada, she has also acted in a handful of Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. In the course of her career, she became known for portrayal of the roles mythological and historical characters, and also that of a student, a romantic and a rural belle. Her role in '' Sri Krishnadevaraya'' (1970) as Chennambike won her the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Actress. In 2017, she was honoured with the Padma Shri by the Government of India. Shivaram
S. Shivaram (28 January 1938 – 4 December 2021), popularly known simply as Shivaram or Shivaramanna, was an Indian actor, producer and director whose Kannada cinema career has spanned six decades. He has played roles including lead hero performances, character roles, comedic roles, as well as supporting parts. He teamed up with his elder brother, S. Ramanathan and produced several films under the name Rashi Brothers apart from directing ''Hrudaya Sangama'' in 1972. They together produced movies directed by Puttanna Kanagal like ''Gejje Pooje'' and ''Upasane''. Vijaya Narasimha
Vijaya Naarasimha (ಕನ್ನಡ:ವಿಜಯ ನಾರಸಿಂಹ)(16th January 1927 – 31 October 2001) was an Indian lyricist who worked in Kannada cinema. Career Vijaya Naarasimha's first Kannada film song was "Yee Dehadinda Dooranaade" (Oh soul, why did you depart this body) for the 1956 film ''Ohileshwara''. He was part of the magic trio of director S. R. Puttanna Kanagal and music director Vijaya Bhaskar, which came up with widely appreciated songs. He worked with every major singer and music director through the 60s, 70s and 80s and with every major actor, including a couple of Kannada films with Tamil superstar Rajnikanth. His last film was the Rajkumar-starrer ''Odahuttidavaru''. He was always writing, though his eyesight was bad, it was a passion with him. Geethapriya
Lakshman Rao Mohite (15 June 1932 – 17 January 2016), better known by his pen-name Geethapriya ( kn, ಗೀತಪ್ರಿಯ), was an Indian film director and lyricist of the Kannada film industry. He has directed 40 films and penned over 250 songs in Kannada films. In 1992–93, he was awarded the Puttanna Kanagal Award for his contribution to Kannada cinema as a director. Early life Geethapriya was born as Lakshman Rao Mohite in 1931, to Ramarao Mohite and Lakshmibai. His father worked for the cavalry regiment of Mysore State Troops called Mysore Lancers, which was stationed in Bangalore. Even though his mother tongue was Marathi, he was always interested in the Kannada language and was admitted to a Kannada-medium school. The poet P. T. J. C. Ramaswamy (19 May 1928 – 2 August 1986), known by his screen name Shakti Prasad, was an Indian actor who appeared in Kannada films in mostly villainous roles. Vasanthi B. A. (born as Karanam Vasanthi) was an Indian actress and producer who was active in the Tamil language, Tamil, Telugu language, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada film industries during the latter half of the 20th century. Vijaya Bhaskar ( kan, ವಿಜಯಭಾಸ್ಕರ್; 1924–2002) was an Indian music director and composer who composed music for several mainstream and experimental feature films in the Kannada film industry. Scoring music for over 600 feature films, Bhaskar worked in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Tulu and Konkani language films as well. He was a part of all of popular Kannada film director KSL Swamy's (Ravi) movies and was also known for his association with acclaimed directors Puttanna Kanagal and Adoor Gopalakrishnan. Influenced by R C Boral and Mukul Mehta, Bhaskar developed his own style of music and introduced the concept of theme music in Kannada film industry. Pandari Bai (1930 – 29 January 2003) was an Indian actress who worked in South Indian cinema, mostly in Kannada cinema during the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. She is considered Kannada cinema's first successful heroine. She has acted as both heroine and mother to stalwarts such as Rajkumar, M. G. Ramachandran, Sivaji Ganesan. She was the heroine in Rajkumar's debut movie ''Bedara Kannappa'' and also Sivaji's debut movie '' Parasakthi''. She has acted in over 1,000 films in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
