Hrachya Harutyunyan
Hrachya Harutyunyan ( hy, Հրաչյա Հարությունյան; born February 14, 1961) is an Armenian actor and artistic director. Biography Hrachya Harutyunyan was born on February 14, 1961 in Yerevan. Between 1979 and 1981, Harutyunyan studied at variety-circus department adjacent to ''Hayhamerg'' union, received a qualification of an artist in the original genre. In 1984, Harutyunyan graduated from the Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinema, faculty of Cinema. Starting from 1978, Harutyunyan works at Hrachya Ghaplanyan Drama Theatre in Yerevan, as an actor and artistic director. Hrachya Harutyunyan is married to Syuzan Margaryan, singer and honored artist of Armenia. His daughter is Sirusho, who is also a singer and an honored artist of Armenia. Siranush Harutyunyan ( hy, Սիրանուշ Հարությունյան; born 7 January 1987), known professionally as Sirusho ( hy, Սիրուշո), is an Armenian singer and songwriter. She received her first award when she was nine years old for her song "Lusabats". Sirusho's first studio album, ''Sirusho'', was released in 2000; followed by the second album ''Sheram'' in 2005. In the same year, she was awarded the Future of Armenian Music, Best Album and Best Female Performer awards in the first Armenian National Music Awards. Sirusho reached international recognition after representing Armenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with her co-written song "Qélé, Qélé" in Belgrade, Serbia. The Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinematography (YSITC; hy, Երևանի թատրոնի և կինոյի պետական ինստիտուտ) is a state university and higher education institution based in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. Hrachya Ghaplanyan Drama Theatre ( hy, Հրաչյա Ղափլանյանի անվան դրամատիկական թատրոն) is a municipal theatre founded in 1967 by Hrachya Ghaplanyan. It is located in the Kentron district of Yerevan, on 28 Isahakyan Street. It was opened with a performance of Vsevolod Vishnevsky's "An Optimistic Tragedy ''Optimistic Tragedy'' (russian: Оптимистическая трагедия) is a play written by Vsevolod Vishnevskiy in the Soviet Union in 1933 with a dedication to the 15th anniversary of the Red Army.
