Hponkanrazi Wildlife Sanctuary
Hponkanrazi Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected area in northern Myanmar, stretching over an area of . It was established in 2003. It encompasses riverine habitats, subtropical moist forest, temperate forest, deciduous forest and alpine forest. It is contiguous with Hkakaborazi National Park, Bumhpa Bum Wildlife Sanctuary and Hukaung Valley Wildlife Sanctuary. Together, they form a large protected area complex of natural forest called the Northern Forest Complex. It is managed by the Forest Department. Clouded Leopard
The clouded leopard (''Neofelis nebulosa''), also called the mainland clouded leopard, is a wild cat inhabiting dense forests from the foothills of the Himalayas through mainland Southeast Asia into South China. In the early 19th century, a clouded leopard was brought to London from China and described in 1821. It has large dusky-grey blotches and irregular spots and stripes reminiscent of clouds. Its head-and-body length ranges from with a long tail. It uses its tail for balancing when moving in trees and is able to climb down vertical tree trunks head first. It rests in trees during the day and hunts by night on the forest floor. Spotted Linsang
The spotted linsang (''Prionodon pardicolor'') is a linsang, a tree-dwelling carnivorous mammal, native to much of Southeast Asia. It is widely, though usually sparsely, recorded, and listed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List. Characteristics The spotted linsang resembles the banded linsang in its long, slender body, short limbs, elongated neck and head, and long tail. The ground colour ranges from dusky brown to light buff. Two long stripes extend from behind the ears to the shoulders or beyond, and two shorter stripes run along the neck. Yellow-throated Marten
The yellow-throated marten (''Martes flavigula'') is a marten species native to Asia. It is listed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List due to its wide distribution, evidently relatively stable population, occurrence in a number of protected areas, and lack of major threats. The marbled cat (''Pardofelis marmorata'') is a small wild cat native from the eastern Himalayas to Southeast Asia, where it inhabits forests up to an elevation of . The Asian golden cat (''Catopuma temminckii'') is a medium-sized wild cat native to the northeastern Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asia and China. Hukaung Valley Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected area in northern Myanmar, covering . It was established in 2004 and extended to its present size in 2010. Bumhpa Bum Wildlife Sanctuary
Bumhpa Bum Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected area in Myanmar, covering an area of . It was established in 2004. It ranges in elevation from and harbours evergreen forest in Kachin State. Bumhpa Bum Wildlife Sanctuary is contiguous with Khakaborazi National Park and Hukaung Valley Wildlife Sanctuary.
