Houston Rodeo Live
Houston Rodeo Live is a live album released by Jennifer Peña on November 2, 2004 it was recorded on March 14, 2004 at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo in Houston, Texas in front of a crowd of 50,000 spectators. The album was made available in both CD and CD/DVD combo, it sold 100,000 units, becoming Pena's seventh Platinum certified album by the RIAA. A bestseller in spite of never having an official single, early TV slots promoted a duet with Obie Bermúdez "No Se Nada De Ti" which was later scrapped off the track list. Instead it only featured one unreleased song ''Por Amor'' and a dozen of Jennifer hits "Si Tu Te Vas", ''Contigo Otra Vez'' and '' El Dolor De Tu Presencia'' in live format recorded before the release of her sixth effort '' Seducción''; it also included "Vivo Y Muero En Tu Piel". Jennifer Marcella Peña (born September 17, 1983) is an American Tejano/Latin pop singer who has sold over 3.5 million records internationally. Peña was born in San Antonio, Texas, and is the third and youngest daughter of Jaime and Mary Peña with other sisters Janet and Jackie. Peña is of Mexican descent native to the state of Texas, raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. Career Los Jetz Peña first achieved notoriety after performing at the Astrodome in Houston, Texas, during a Selena tribute concert in 1995 while under management with Q-Productions and Abraham Quintanilla Jr., who was Selena's father and former manager. Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, also called RodeoHouston or abbreviated HLSR, is the largest livestock exhibition and rodeo in the world. It includes one of the richest regular-season professional rodeo events. It has been held at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, since 2003, with the exception of 2021 due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was previously held in the Astrodome. It is considered to be the city's "signature event", much like New Orleans's Mardi Gras, Dallas's Texas State Fair, San Diego's Comic-Con and New York City's New Year's Eve at Times Square.
