Hotel (1976 TV Series)
''Hotel'' (狂潮, literally ''The Ferocious Waves'') is a Hong Kong television series, which premiered on 1 November 1976 on TVB. The theme song "Hotel" (狂潮) was composed and arranged by Joseph Koo with lyrics by Wong Jim and was sung by Susanna Kwan. ''Hotel'' was the first drama on TVB with a modern setting. The show's popularity was integral to the emergence of Chow Yun-fat Chow Yun-fat (born 18 May 1955), previously known as Donald Chow, is a Hong Kong actor. He is perhaps best known for his collaborations with filmmaker John Woo in the five Hong Kong action heroic bloodshed films: ''A Better Tomorrow'', ''A Be ...'s career. Wong Tin Lam
Wong Tin-Lam (1927–2010) was a Chinese screenwriter, Film producer, producer, Film director, director, and actor, who has contributed to the Cinema of Hong Kong, Hong Kong cinema scene with a career spanning six decades. He has made films in Cantonese, Mandarin and Amoy dialect. Career Wong began as a film director in the mid-1950s, working for the Hsin Hwa Motion Picture Company (renamed to Xinhua Film Company in 1957). Wong later joined Cathay Organisation. Soh Hang Suen
Soh Hang-suen (10 October 1951 – 12 June 2013), (alternatively romanised as So Hung-shuen), was a Hong Kong actress. Joseph Koo Kar-Fai, MBE, GBS (born 3 February 1933), is a Hong Kong composer, who is considered one of the most respected composers in Hong Kong. He used the pen name Moran (莫然) for Mandarin songs early in his career.
