Hossam Ashour
Hossam Mohamed Ashour Sanad Atia ( ar, حسام محمد عاشور سند عطية, born 9 March 1986) is an Egyptian footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder. After progressing through the club's youth system, Ashour established himself in the first team of Al Ahly and has won 39 domestic and continental competitions with the club, the most for any player both for a single club and at the club level in general. He is also the third most decorated player in history, only surpassed by Lionel Messi and Dani Alves. He has made more than 500 appearances in all competitions. Having represented Egypt at under-20 level, he made his senior international debut for Egypt in 2008 and has won 14 caps. Wael Kamel Gomaa El Hawty ( ar, وائل كامل جمعة الحوتي; born 3 August 1975) is an Egyptian retired professional footballer who played as a centre-back. He is regarded as one of the best African defenders of all time. Club career Gomaa's performances with Ghazl El Mahalla in the 2000–01 season earned him a move to Al Ahly after the Egypt Cup final match with Ghazl El Mahalla against Al Ahly. He made his debut for Al Ahly in a friendly match against Real Madrid in August 2001. His official debut was in the match against Angolan side Petro Atletico in CAF Champions League 2001 on 12 August in Luanda. The 2005 African Youth Championship was an international football competition that took place between 15 and 29 January 2005. The 2017 Egyptian Super Cup was the 14th edition of the Egyptian Super Cup, an annual football match between the winners of the previous season's Egyptian Premier League and Egypt Cup. Al Masry Sporting Club ( ar, النادي المصري للألعاب الرياضية) is an Egyptian sports club based in Port Said, Egypt. The club is mainly known for its professional football team, that competes in the Egyptian Premier League, the highest division of the Egyptian football league system. Al Masry has never won the league, but won their one Egyptian Cup in 1998. The club plays their home matches at the Port Said Stadium, with a capacity of 17,988.
