''Horror Stories 2'' () is a 2013 horror omnibus film made up of four episodes by four South Korean directors. It screened at the Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival and Sitges Film Festival in 2013, and won the Silver Raven prize in the International Competition at the 2014 Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival. Min Kyu-dong's ''444'' is set against the backdrop of the warehouse of an insurance company where a woman with the ability to communicate with the dead delves into fraudulent insurance claim cases. Kim Sung-ho's ''The Cliff'' focuses on two friends who go hiking in the woods then get trapped at the edge of a cliff. Kim Hwi's ''The Accident'' centers on three depressed girls who go on a road trip after they fail the teacher's certification exam, but a car crash turns their trip into a nightmare. Min Kyu-dong
Min Kyu-dong (born September 12, 1970) is a South Korean film director, screenwriter and film producer, producer. He made his feature directorial debut in horror film ''Memento Mori (film), Memento Mori'' (1999), followed by romantic comedy, romantic comedies ''All for Love (2005 film), All for Love'' (2005) and ''All About My Wife'' (2012), queer films ''Antique (film), Antique'' (2008) and ''In My End Is My Beginning'' (2013), melodrama ''The Last Blossom'' (2011), and period drama ''The Treacherous'' (2015). Im Won-hee (born October 11, 1970) is a South Korean actor. Im was an alumnus of the legendary Daehangno, Daehak-ro theater troupe ''Mokhwa'' (), starring in many of Jang Jin's stage plays. He made his film debut in Jang's black comedy ''The Happenings'' in 1998, and through the years has become one of the most versatile supporting actors in Korean cinema, with notable roles in ''Three... Extremes'' and ''Le Grand Chef''. But Im is best known for his iconic role Dachimawa Lee, which began in 2000 as the title character of a 35-minute short film that director Ryoo Seung-wan made as a parody/pastiche, homage to '70s Korean genre action films. Webtoons (), are a type of digital comic that originated in South Korea usually meant to be read on smartphones. While webtoons were mostly unknown outside of Korea during their inception, there has been a surge in popularity internationally thanks in great part to the rise in popularity of manhwa and the fact that most manhwa are released as webtoons. In the country, as digital manhwa have emerged as a popular medium, print publication of manhwa has decreased. The amount of material published in webtoon form has now reached an equal amount as that published offline.
