Hornavanskolan
Hornavanskolan is a secondary school in Arjeplog Municipality in Sweden. The school was founded in 1993 and is located by Hornavan, the deepest lake in Sweden. The school cooperates with various car manufacturers such as BMW, Daimler AG, Daimler, Knorr-Bremse, Volkswagen AG (Audi), Robert Bosch GmbH, Bosch, General Motors, GM, Aston Martin, Lotus Cars, Caterham Cars and MIRA Ltd and can offer students of the BilTeknikSystem (car technology system) program temporary internships at national and international automotive companies.http://bst.arjeplog.se/images/stories/pdf/Broschyr_2011.pdf Hornavanskolan also offers a program in construction that's been recommended by The Swedish Construction Industry Training Board, BYN, as well as programs in natural science, business and civics. Arjeplog Municipality (Swedish: ''Arjeplogs kommun'', sme, Arjepluovvi gielda; sje, Árjepluove komuvdna) is a municipality in Norrbotten County in northern Sweden. Its seat is located in Arjeplog. The area, which now is Arjeplog Municipality, used to be a single parish (Swedish: ''socken''), which was made into a municipality when the first Swedish local government acts were implemented in 1863. Arjeplog (; Pite Sami: ) is a locality and the seat of Arjeplog Municipality in Norrbotten County, province of Lapland, Sweden with 1,977 inhabitants in 2010. It is a popular winter test site for the Asian and European car industries and featured on an episode of the British TV show ''Top Gear''. Arjeplog has in the past offered families 100,000 kronor, or individuals 25,000 kronor to move to the town. Climate Arjeplog has a subarctic climate ( Dfc) typical of northern Sweden.
