Hornavanskolan is a secondary school in Arjeplog Municipality in Sweden. The school was founded in 1993 and is located by Hornavan, the deepest lake in Sweden. Arjeplog Municipality (Swedish: ''Arjeplogs kommun'', sme, Arjepluovvi gielda; sje, Árjepluove komuvdna) is a municipality in Norrbotten County in northern Sweden. Its seat is located in Arjeplog. The area, which now is Arjeplog Municipality, used to be a single parish (Swedish: ''socken''), which was made into a municipality when the first Swedish local government acts were implemented in 1863. Arjeplog (; Pite Sami: ) is a locality and the seat of Arjeplog Municipality in Norrbotten County, province of Lapland, Sweden with 1,977 inhabitants in 2010. It is a popular winter test site for the Asian and European car industries and featured on an episode of the British TV show ''Top Gear''.
