Hope Partlow
Amanda Hope Partlow (born May 31, 1988) is an American pop singer from Drummonds, Tennessee. Biography Partlow grew up singing gospel and country songs in her native town. She was a popular act at the local Strand Theatre. While still in her early teens, a demo she and her family had self-produced, made its way to an aunt working as a songwriter in Nashville. Eventually, the recording found the ear of producer and Virgin CEO, Matt Serletic, and by the time Partlow was 14, she had signed her first contract. Her first album, titled ''Who We Are'', was released September 6, 2005. Her first on-screen national exposure was performing a song from the album on the September 9, 2005 edition of The Tonight Show with the song "Sick Inside". Prior to the release of her album, her song, "Whatever Comes Our Way", was the theme to The WB comedy ''Living With Fran'', starring Fran Drescher. ''TCG'' (short for "The Cheetah Girls") is the second and final studio album by The Cheetah Girls. The album was released on Hollywood Records on September 25, 2007. The album debuted at number 44 on the ''Billboard'' 200 albums chart with 19,000 copies sold in its first week. It has sold 126,000 copies to date. Critics gave the album mixed to positive reviews, who while complimenting the girls' vocal performances, felt the album was "safe" and didn't push any boundaries. It was supplemented by the single "Fuego". Background The girls originally began working on the album in January 2006. However, when production began for ''The Cheetah Girls 2'' and its accompanying soundtrack, the album was put on hold at the time. AllMusic (previously known as All Music Guide and AMG) is an American online music database. It catalogs more than three million album entries and 30 million tracks, as well as information on musicians and bands. Initiated in 1991, the database was first made available on the Internet in 1994. AllMusic is owned by RhythmOne. The Veronicas is an Australian pop duo from Brisbane. The group was formed in 2004 by identical twin sisters Lisa and Jessica Origliasso. Sara Rachele (born 1988) is an American folk singer from Decatur, Georgia. Early life The daughter of a baby-boomer painter and Italian-Croatian American immigrant, Rachele (pronounced ra-kelly) grew up in Decatur, GA. Music career As a teen working for free cleaning out the cupboards at Atlanta acoustic venue Eddie's Attic, Rachele met musicians and writers, joining bands as a side-player. There Rachele met Hope Partlow, and dropped her college plans for a music career, although she eventually completed a degree at Berklee College of Music.
