Honda Taiwan
Honda Taiwan Co., Ltd. (), a wholly owned subsidiary of Honda Motor Co. Ltd., was established in February 2002 shortly after discontinuing their local partnership with Sanyang Motor. It started productions and sales of CR-V in January 2003 then expanded to include the Accord (November 2003), Civic (2006), and Fit (2008). On November 11, 2008 Honda Taiwan celebrated assembling its 100,000th vehicle. In 2009, Honda Taiwan employed 740 people. Honda products for the Taiwanese market had been assembled and distributed by local motorcycle manufacturer Sanyang Industrial Co. for 41 years when the announcement was made. Sanyang Motor Co., Ltd. () (stylized as SYM) is a Taiwanese motorcycle manufacturer headquartered in Hukou, Taiwan. Honda TN360
The TN360 and its successors in the long running TN series is a cab over pickup truck from Honda, which replaced the T360 in November 1967. The TN360 uses an air-cooled two-cylinder 354 cc engine with a single overhead camshaft, and was adapted from the Honda CB450 motorcycle. The preceding T360 had been equipped with a very complex twin-cam four-cylinder unit, whereas this new engine (shared with the N360 sedan) was more fitted for mass production. The Honda N360 is a small front-engine, front-wheel drive, two-door, four-passenger car manufactured and marketed by Honda from March 1967 through 1970 in Japan's highly regulated kei class — as both a two-door sedan and three-door wagon. After a January 1970 facelift, the N360 became the N360 and continued in production until June 1972. A larger-engined variant, the N600, was marketed through 1973. All models used a straight forward two-box design that complied with kei dimensional regulations — though vehicles with the 401 cc and 598 cc engines exceeded the kei engine displacement limits and were largely intended for markets outside Japan.
