Homenetmen Bourj Hamoud ( ar, نادي الهومنتمن برج حمود hy, Հ.Մ.Ը.Մ. Պուրճ Համուտ) is a Lebanese multi-sports club, mostly known for its basketball program. Established in 1935, it is located in Bourj Hamoud, Matn District, Lebanon, and is part of Homenetmen Lebanon. The women's basketball team is part of the Lebanese Basketball League. Bourj Hamoud
Bourj Hammoud (also spelled Burj Hammud; ar, بُرْجُ حَمُّودٍ; hy, Պուրճ Համուտ) is a town and municipality in Lebanon located north-east of the capital Beirut, in the Matn District, and is part of Greater Beirut. Matn ( ar, قضاء المتن, '), sometimes spelled Metn (or preceded by the article El, as in El Matn), is a district (''qadaa'') in the Mount Lebanon Governorate of Lebanon, east of the Lebanon's capital Beirut. Homenetmen Sports Association Lebanon ( ar, الجمعية الرياضية هومنتمن لبنان; ) is a Lebanese-Armenian multi-sports club and scouting movement. Established in 1924, it is part of the worldwide pan-Armenian Homenetmen organization. Lebanese Basketball League
The Lebanese Basketball League is the top-tier professional men's basketball league in Lebanon. It is organized annually as a national championship with playoffs and a national cup by the Lebanese Basketball Federation (FLB). Currently, the league consists of 12 teams, of which six are located in Beirut. The most successful club in the history of the league is Al Riyadi who have won a record 16 championships.
